Sat within the grounds of a working farm in rural Oxfordshire, this cottage is as cute as a button. The interior has been fully modernised — save for the stone fireplace — although it still feels homely thanks to the rural artwork on the walls and the plush furnishings. Add to that a sleek tub in the bathroom and relaxing should be no problem at all.

That's even more so the case on summer afternoons, as there's a garden with seating and a table. When you grow tired of idling in the sunshine — if you do — you're in an ideal spot for outdoor excursions. The Cotswolds AONB can be reached in around twenty minutes' drive, as can Blenheim Palace and the surrounding parkland. Closer to home, there are a pair of pubs and a cafe in the local village of Adderbury, only twenty minutes away on foot.
