Located between the famous neighbourhoods of Bica, Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré, this apartment couldn’t be better placed. You’re minutes away from some of Lisbon’s best sights, including the Miradouro de Santa Catarina and the medieval Carmo Convent. While the home itself isn’t the most exciting in our collection, it’s a comfortable crash pad for a family or group of friends. Outside, there’s a private patio, though a little weathered, it’s a fine spot for an evening glass of wine.
Home truths: *This home was purpose-built for rentals, so it's not the most soulful or charming space. *The third bedroom is a little musty and can get hot in the summer months. *This home is located in a hilly area and there are stairs to climb, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Plus, vehicle restrictions mean you can’t access the apartment by car. *Parking in Lisbon can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible. That said, we think the best way to see the city is on foot. *You’ll need to pick up the keys from the host’s office first. *Given the apartment’s central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
