The Golden Ages: Provence-Alps-French Riviera

Situated on an estate a short drive from Sainte Maxime, this villa provides a relaxing stay in the South of France. While the home comes with its own swimming pool and a covered terrace for alfresco dining, guests also benefit from communal amenities, including a volleyball court. What's more, the host provides two golf carts for easy access to the private beach. Interior-wise, the place is simple, and if it were up to us, we’d give the bathrooms a refresh. But on the whole, everything is functional, and each bedroom has air conditioning – a welcome addition during the summer.

Home truths:
*Due to the location of this home, we recommend hiring a car for ease of getting around. Parking for four cars is available on the premises.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times. Your host can also provide a cot and high chair upon request.
*Since the photo shoot, a bunk bed has been added to one of the double bedrooms.
*This home does not accept youth groups under the age of 30.
*Guests staying here have access to a volleyball court, table tennis tables and a tennis court – reservations are required.
