A historical gem dating back to 1750, this Georgian mansion was once home to the Lord Mayor of Bath. Many of the original features still remain today, though that doesn't mean it's old-fashioned. There's a cinema room for family movie nights, generously sized lounges with cosy fireplaces, and a collection of bedrooms that look like they belong in a boutique hotel – including one with custom-built bunk beds perfect for six little ones. When you're ready to explore, the centre of Bath and its many museums, shops, and delicious eateries are just a mile away.
