The Gallery is an architect-designed reverse-level cottage in countryside a mile from the Devon village of Aveton Gifford. The cottage sleeps four people in two downstairs en suite double bedrooms (one can convert to small twin). On the first floor is a sitting room with wood burning stove and a kitchen with dining area and glass doors to steps down to the garden. Outside is a private enclosed garden with table and chairs, and six shared acres of meadow, pond and lawn for picnics and croquet, plus off road parking for two cars. The Gallery is a charming and peaceful retreat with lovely views for a year-round relaxing break in Devon.

Two downstairs bedrooms: 1 x super king double with en suite shower room with shower, WC and basin, 1 x king size double (converts to 2' 6' twin) with en suite bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and basin. First floor sitting room with wood burning stove. Kitchen with dining area.

Area
Aveton Gifford is a small rural village on the banks of the river Avon. Nearby is the busy little town of Kingsbridge at the head of a marine estuary in the attractive South Hams area of south Devon

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
