Area Town and civil parish in Gloucestershire, not far from Cheltenham (10 miles). Although it was founded on the wool trade, modern visitors to the town flock to see the yew trees in the parish church and stroll around the Rococo Garden. Cotswold Stone, found in the area, was used extensively in the construction of the settlement. It is located midway along the Cotswolds Way National Trail and sits atop a hill in the Stroud district, providing a view of one of the Five Valleys.
