Big enough for a big family gathering or group get-together, this villa is just a three-minute walk from the pristine beach of Port de Pollensa. So it’s easy to pop back for the forgotten sunscreen or beach umbrella. Along the beachfront, there are plenty of places to dine and unwind with a cold drink and the town is home to supermarkets, tapas bars and seafood restaurants.

But there’s plenty to keep you occupied at the villa should you fancy a lazy day. The rectangle of turquoise swimming pool invites you for a cooling dip and there are plenty of loungers to dry off. The shaded veranda is home to outdoor lounge areas, a long dining table and a pool table. Plus, there’s a ping pong table out in the sunshine for a friendly game or two. Heading inside, you’ve got two comfy living rooms to choose from – one upstairs and one downstairs – so the group can spread out. A dining table provides seating for eight, but we think the weather lends itself to alfresco meals and there’s a stone barbecue and prep area outside.

*For those with reduced mobility, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the ground floor
*In accordance with local energy saving schemes, the air conditioning is only scheduled for certain times of day, from 9pm to 8am and from 2pm to 4pm
*Although a car isn't necessary, there is private parking and additional on-street parking at this villa
*A cleaning service, pool towels and a welcome basket are provided for free
*This villa has two high chairs and two cots for infants and more can be provided on request
*Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
*The swimming pool isn't fenced, so children will need to be supervised at all times
