Whisk the family away to one of Lisbon’s most exclusive beach resorts, Aroeria, for a sunny getaway. Just over 13 miles away from Lisbon, the villa feels a world away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The interior is simple and quite bare, so it’s not a homely space. However, we imagine you’ll be spending most of your time in the outdoor area. specially when there’s a pool, barbecue, and wood fire pizza oven to take advantage of. We’re big fans of the exterior’s traditional style of red bricks and white columns, too. Fancy a switch up from pool days? Take the short two-mile drive to the sands of Praia do Rei. Or make use of the bicycles provided for a sunny bike ride to the beach. The area’s also known for its excellent golf resorts.

*Your host provides a cot and high chair for the little ones for free. There's also a child-friendly room featuring a pull-out bed with plenty of children's books and table football.

*If you'd like to catch up on some work during your stay, there are desks in two of the bedrooms.
*The decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
