This villa is a veritable palace on the Lisbon Riviera. It’s fitting as the town of Estoril was known as the holiday playground for royalty with its fine-dining restaurants and sweep of sandy beach. Both Lisbon and Cascais are a short train ride away. You’ll find endless living rooms and lounges inside, from wood-panelled grandeur to traditional tiled splendour and painted wood beams. For those working remotely, the study boasts a big desk and walls of bookshelves. There are three kitchens so chefs will be happy and your host can arrange for a private chef on request. If you’re spending the day by the private pool, you can peek through the trees and catch a glimpse of the sea.
