Getting lost in Mouraria's winding streets is a trip into the past, and part of the neighbourhood's authentic appeal. The Azure Terrace is situated in a house typical for the neighbourhood, which means that the outside (in stark contrast to the home itself) is a bit scruffy. The Azure Terrace is a home with all the features we want to see in a Lisbon Plum home – a private terrace, cute rustic design with lots of modern features and plenty of natural light. The abundance of fado shown in the vicinity is just a bonus.

* This home doesn't have a lot of storage space – you'll struggle to unpack two full suitcases in the bedrooms
* The kitchen is more of a kitchenette, with no dishwasher, or oven
* There is no elevator to this first-floor home – those with limited mobility or heavy suitcases beware
* The second bedroom's only window overlooks the master, so natural light isn't abundant
