Thatched Cottage is a cottage located in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire. It is a traditional Cotswold cottage which dates back to the 1600’s and manages to retain every ounce of its natural character. For example, the beamed ceilings, thick stone walls, oak panelling, flagstone floors and thatched roof are just some of this cottages charms. However the cottage has been furnished in a contemporary style for the ultimate holiday home comfort. The property opens up to an open-plan living room with a wood burner effect gas fire and dining area, as well as a fitted kitchen with a built in breakfast bar. There is a ground floor bathroom and WC available. Upstairs you will find two double bedrooms, one with an en suite and WC. Upstairs is open plan, with Second Bedroom accessed from Bedroom One. There is the added attraction of a private rear garden, complete with a small patio area with furniture and a barbecue provided. Limited on street parking based on a first come first serve basis. Area
Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming limestone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. There is also several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique.
