Patio doors invite you out to the courtyard, where you can embrace the laidback, country lifestyle and prepare lunches on the outdoor worktop. This enclosed area is a wonderful place to let the little ones run free, but the front of the house is where the real magic lies.

Spend lazy days soaking up the sun, occasionally taking a dip to cool off, while admiring the rural scenery. You could take afternoon walks around the fields, or make your way to the Blue Flag beach of Porto Palo. You might be tempted to stay for sunset, but you won’t want to miss it from your tiled patio – watching the fiery sun melt into the fields never gets old. Especially when you’re sipping a local wine – the nearby town of Menfi is known for its wineries.

When you’re not tucking into dinner around the outdoor dining table, you can discover the super-fresh seafood restaurants of Sciacca, a nearby port town. And if you fancy breaking up a day of sunbathing for exploring, the ancient settlement of Selinunte is truly enchanting.
