With highlights of gold on the beautiful terracotta facade, this Andulusian-style home not only looks luxurious inside and out, but it’s only a stone’s throw away from the beach. So much so that you can easily watch sunrises and sunsets from the powdery sand – that is, if you can manage to drag yourself out of bed. The latter might be easier said than done, given the plush bedrooms, and especially if you’ve been lucky enough to nab the master. Instead, light the fire, brew a cup of coffee and get back under the covers with a good book.

Meet in the generous kitchen where everyone can help put breakfast together before enjoying it alfresco. With plenty of seating areas – all bright and open thanks to the layout of this home and the design of the large, arching windows – this home has a nook for everyone to hide away in.

Spend days at the beach, sunbathing as the waves lap the shore, finding ice cream after lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants. Enjoy cocktails and paella before returning home to spend sunsets outside socialising on the terrace. Stay out there for as long as you’d like – hopefully until you’ve enjoyed a fair bit of stargazing – before returning indoors for a luxurious soak in the tub.
