This seaside home is just a stone’s throw from Whitstable’s long, shingled beach. A stroll along the seafront will take you to a choice of independent shops and food stalls – you can’t leave without trying the oysters that Whitstable is famous for. You’ll be able to glimpse the sea from the home’s small balcony – which is perfect for a morning coffee or an evening aperitif – and for barbecues, there’s a small courtyard garden. While the home isn’t the most luxurious in our collection, we think it will suit a family or group of friends wanting a fuss-free getaway by the sea.
Home truths: *One of the bedrooms has a pull-out day bed which converts into two singles. When used as a twin room, there won’t be much floor space here.
*The ceiling in two of the bedrooms is on the low side – these rooms might not be suitable for taller guests.
*The dining table seats six so isn’t big enough to accommodate everyone when the home is at full occupancy.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a high chair for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
*Parties, gatherings, and social events are strictly not allowed at this home. Hanging decorations and banners cannot be put up.
*There is free on-site parking for one car here.
