But with the sun and surf calling, you'll want to spend all your time on the beach. Pack a picnic and while away mornings catching the sun on the shore, then enjoy afternoon wanders along the promenade – stopping for an ice cream cone, of course. Come evening, crawl into one of the neighbourhood pubs for a pint and a hearty dinner. Better yet, make your way home for cocktails and a barbecue in the courtyard garden, watching the sun go down.

Inside, the design effortlessly marries cosy, coastal charm with contemporary features. Snuggle up in front of the fire with a good book, soak aching feet in the bathtub (complete with a rainfall shower) or settle down for a catnap in the comfortable bedrooms.
