Although this is a small home, we could tell that a lot of work has gone into making the best out of the square footage. The pinnacle of this effort is a panoramic window in the living room that opens up into the balcony. The furniture here is more of a backdrop than a statement, but that works quite well to maximise the space. Barcelona's most famous sights might not be in the immediate vicinity of Poblenou, but Bogatell beach is within walking distance.

Home truths:
* The cutlery and crockery are a mish-mash of different brands and styles, which might bother more meticulous guests
* Although this home can accommodate four guests, the third and fourth guest will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room.
* The closet to the bedroom is outside the room in the hallway
* We felt that the kitchen looked a bit dated and could use an update
* The bathroom has no ventilation or natural light
