Not far from Catania, this cosy villa makes a fantastic base in eastern Sicily. The interiors aren't the most contemporary, but the dated elements have a certain charm – even if the sloped ceilings upstairs mean taller guests will have to mind their heads. Besides, the crown jewel here is the sprawling garden. Between the seasonal swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and bevvy of terraces, you won't be short on spots to enjoy the Sicilian sunshine. Fancy an adventure further afield? There's a rocky beach in Acireale (7 kilometres away), plus plenty of attractions within driving distance.

*This home is spread across two floors, with stairs inside and out. You'll need to be comfortable climbing steps here.
*The swimming pool is only available to use between 1st April and 15th November.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair on request. Please bring your own linen for the cot.
*A mid-week clean is included with your stay. Linen and pool towels are also changed weekly, while bath towels are changed twice a week.
*Due to the location, we suggest hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's private parking available here.
*Your host provides a welcome basket with breakfast items.
