What this studio apartment lacks in space, it more than makes up for with its enviable location. Book lovers will make a beeline for the iconic Lello bookstore, while foodies can meander through Bolhão market. There’s something for everyone here, and for trips further afield, the Trindade metro is a mere five-minute walk away. Back at home, while the kitchenette is basic, the lack of an oven isn’t a problem with a great selection of restaurants ready and waiting to serve up a slice of Porto cuisine.

Home truths:
*Construction work is ongoing in the apartment building during the daytime. Be prepared to experience some noise disturbance during your stay.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*Parking in Porto can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
*Noise must be kept to a minimum between 11pm-7am.
