The well-equipped kitchen and the tastefully decorated living room are brilliantly bright. However, the other rooms are considerably darker. For some, the simplicity of the interior design may be underwhelming and, although this apartment may not score highly in the character stakes, its location is brilliant. Fort Pienc, a neighbourhood in the Eixample district, is known for drawing in a younger crowd. Concert halls, cafes, restaurants, and museums are all reachable on foot.

*Although there is a lift that takes you up to the apartment, it is not sufficiently sized – standard wheelchairs will struggle to squeeze in

*There's an extractor fan on the balcony – it's small but, nonetheless, an eyesore

*Some of the bedrooms suffer from a noticeable lack of natural light

*The air conditioning is not sufficient for the whole house – especially during the swelteringly hot summer months

*Some of the furniture could do with some extra love and attention – the master bedroom's wardrobe is in need of an update
