Sitting close to the northern tip of the isle of Kea, it's hard to imagine a more peaceful location for a Greek getaway. Indeed, you'll never tire of the views of the Ionian Sea enjoyed from the home's outdoor space, which also features a swimming pool and lots of space for alfresco dinners. The living quarters quite sensibly don't try to compete with these wonderful surroundings and are simple in style. The fact that there are two separate guest houses on the site might be handy for separate families or large friendship groups paying a visit, as well.

*There's a 600 metre-long dirt road leading to the home that might be better suited for a 4x4 vehicle – there's space to park four to five cars on the premises
*Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
*The address is spread between the main house which has three double bedrooms and a sofa bed, plus two guesthouses each with a double bedroom, kitchenette and lounge
*The buildings are all single-level but there are steps across the site
*Well-behaved pets might be allowed to accompany you during your stay with prior approval from your host
