Surrounded by pine trees, this secluded villa is only a short walk from Sardinia's northeastern coast. Many of the island's gems are within easy reach, ranging from Lu Impostu beach to Tavolara Island – although you'll need to hop on a boat to visit the latter. There's plenty to entertain back home, too. A private pool, rooftop solarium and sunny terrace provide ample time in the fresh air – and since there's no wi-fi here, chances are you'll relish the opportunity to switch off. The interiors are a little dated and the kitchen is relatively compact. You'll also need to pay for bedding and towels – but that aside, it’s a cosy place to call home.
Home truths: *While the kitchen isn't photographed, we know the layout is quite compact – although the style and quality are consistent with the rest of the home
*This is a single-level home, but there are steps up to the roof terrace
*There's no wi-fi here, so prepare to switch off during your stay
*The interiors are a little dated, and not up to Plum's usual standards – we let this one into our collection due to its secluded location on the coast
*You'll need a car in this remote location – there's free parking on the premises
*The pool isn't fenced, so children will need to be supervised at all times
