This 18th-century farmhouse appears on the first register of properties in Italy. It sits 700m above sea level and – although its decor is a little dated – offers spectacular views across Lake Trasimeno, Umbria, and Tuscany. We love the large private terrace area – an ideal spot for admiring the surrounding landscape and enjoying alfresco meals under the gazebo. This home is equipped for all seasons – with air conditioning units and a wood-burning stove. There's plenty to do here – play a game of pool together, take a refreshing dip in the private swimming pool, or enjoy a scenic stroll into Tuscany or Corton. We recommend a car for ease though – there's so much to discover and enjoy in this incredible region.
