Just outside Florence's historic centre – reachable in thirty minutes or so on foot – this sprawling apartment makes a fantastic home-from-home. Play a tune on the piano, curl up with a well-thumbed book, or put together an Italian feast in the kitchen – you'll have plenty of space to sprawl out comfortably. There's also a balcony here, which isn't the biggest but offers a glimpse of the famous Florence Cathedral and Palazzo Vecchio.
