Austwick is a small, yet well-equipped village resting on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, making a great base for walking holidays. Within the village, you will find a local pub serving home-cooked meals, a country hotel, a shop and Post Office for visitors’ daily requirements. The surrounding area is filled with limestone pavements and scars, caves and open moors, whilst the market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton and Kendal are all within easy driving distance.
