Most importantly, you'll find all of Rome’s biggest sites close by too. Wander the bustling streets leading you to the Colosseum, just over twenty minutes away on foot, making a pit-stop first at the famous Roman ice cream parlour, Fassi dating back to 1880 and located rather dangerously just long from your apartment. And despite its central location, you’ll be surprised at how quiet this home is, thanks to the communal inner courtyard that welcomes you the moment the grand lobby doors of this historic building open. But there’s nothing dated about the interiors of this completely renovated home. The owners have kept the space sleek and modern to make the most of the natural light, which floods the space. We particularly like the charming little balcony that overlooks the courtyard. Open the shutters wide and let the fresh air drift in as you enjoy an Italian breakfast and hatch plans for your day's adventure in the Eternal City.

*This home can accommodate up to five guests, but two will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room and one on a trundle in the bedroom
*Child-friendly amenities such as a cot is available upon request at no extra cost
*Your host can organise a shuttle service available to and from the airport at an additional cost, and help with restaurants reservations and taxis bookings
*Guests will have to climb fifteen steps before reaching the lift to your apartment – this might not be the home for you if you have any mobility issues
*There is an additional charge for late check-in after 9PM - please check with your host in advance
*You may find the supply of hot water is not enough for everyone to have long showers
