We should, first of all, give a shout-out to this studio home's address. It's within walking distance of the Santa Justa Elevator, the vibrant district of Bairro Alto and the São Jorge Castle. So, that's the location – what about the apartment? Well, it's lovely and bright, and there's room for a sofa and dining table. The kitchen is compact, but it has an oven and hob, so you can cook some Portuguese cuisine. We love the views out over Praça da Figueira and the surrounding pastel-hued houses, too.

*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
*While the home can sleep up to four people, the maximum occupancy is two guests.
*If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace. There's high-speed wi-fi here.
*Even though the windows are double-glazed, given the home's central spot, you may hear some street noise.
