Surrounded by golf clubs and beaches, you’ll likely have golf enthusiasts setting off every morning to get on the course whilst beach lovers head to any one of the sandy stretches dotting the coast. For those less inclined to move, stay home where you only need to get out of bed for the time it would take to brew a fresh cup of coffee. Jump back in under the covers and crack open a novel for a cosy reading session. Eventually, you can go for a refreshingly cool dip in the communal pool before picking your holiday book back up on the balcony.

The balcony – with palm tree-lined views of bright, white Andalusian-style homes on the horizon – is also a great place to enjoy meals alfresco. Gather here at the end of the day and watch the sky dim at dusk as you pop open a bottle of wine.
