It's hard to believe that this sprawling apartment is in the heart of Paris. We love the contemporary interiors (especially the bright conservatory), but there's no denying that the centrepiece here is the private terrace. Greenery surrounds the patio, creating a real haven amidst the hustle and bustle. It's perfect for an alfresco coffee or glass of wine, and with a dining table that doubles as an outdoor ping-pong table, fun will definitely be on the cards. Location-wise, this is a prime spot for sightseeing. Simply step onto the street to admire the Eiffel Tower in all its glory – it's only a short walk away.
Home truths: *Though there isn't air conditioning here, your host provides fans.
*As is common in France, the WC is separate from the main bathroom.
*The double bed is on the smaller side, so we think it's best for just one adult or two younger children.
*The dining table outside turns into a ping-pong table.
*Free parking isn't provided, but a car isn't necessary in Paris. Instead of driving, explore on foot or take advantage of the nearby metro station.
