This home really is a nature lover's paradise, being located on one of the paths that leads to the famous 'Path of the Gods' – a spectacular hiking trail through quaint hillside villages and mythical caves as the deep blue ocean stretches out alongside you. Pack a lunch and take half a day to explore the winding paths and striking scenery.

When you return, soothe your muscles with a dip in the hot tub. When evening falls and temperatures cool, head to the kitchen or charcoal barbecue to try your hand at cooking some local dishes – the fish market is the best spot to pick up some fresh seafood. The only place to tuck into an authentic Italian dinner is out on the terrace, over a bottle of wine as the sun descends over the water.
