Olive Smile: Apulia

Set in Itria Valley, this Italian trullo is a great base for a couple’s retreat to rural Puglia. Don’t let the small footprint put you off – this home makes good use of its internal space, even boasting an additional sofa bed for those travelling with a little one. It’s the garden that really stands out though, coming complete with a private pool and ample seating for dining alfresco in the gorgeous Puglian sunshine. Being within easy reach of the coast is just the icing on the cake.

Home truths:
*We'd recommend a maximum guest count of two adults and one child – at full occupancy, one guest will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the bedroom
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair for free upon request
*The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st May and 31st October
*Having a car is essential – there’s free parking for up to three vehicles on the driveway
*A gardener will visit the property every Friday to carry out maintenance outside
