Lovely relaxing time over Christmas 2012, we enjoyed the Prosecco and chocolates left by the owner! It was also nice to have Pete come round to introduce himself after we arrived. The local shop was open every day except Christmas Day, which was great. The unpredictability of the British weather meant that we had spring-like temperatures and exceptional amounts of rain, but we were safe and cosy in Moorhens Cottage.

The holiday cottage is in private riverside development, though it is remote it is so easy to find and is a perfect location to relax and safe and friendly with many activities around for kids. Property is well kept, nicely decorated and beds were very comfortable. May be the kitchen is a bit small - but that will not put you down unless you are going there for a cooking fest. Recommend without hesitation.

The property was furnished to a high standard with all of the equipment we would have hoped for. It was clean and tidy and the Christmas Decorations provide were a really excellent touch, as was the Chocolates and Bubbly!

A well appointed detached cottage situated in a faux village in the Cotswold Water Park. Plenty to do for family with many local amenities would consider returning in a few years time when children are older to gain better benefit from the local water park.

Lower Mill Estate is a beautiful estate with excellent facilities. We had more or less private use of the pool during the week but I am sure that was because we had booked out of the school holidays.

The owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming - wonderful to be in a thatched cottage with so many amenities for modern living.
