For a change of scenery, why not drive the short distance to the coast for a day on the popular pine-fringed beaches of Port de Pollença? Alternatively, you could seek out more secluded spots along the rugged Cap de Formentor coastline, where the Tramuntana mountains abruptly stop and plunge into the sea.
