The stylish living space is bright and airy, with an understated colour palette and comfy furnishings that invite you to make yourself at home. The two separate annexes ensure everyone can enjoy their own peace and quiet, while the outdoor area is ideal for socialising. Fire up the barbeque in the summer kitchen, pop open some prosecco, and gather on the patio for an alfresco feast. And, when the temperature rises, you can plunge into the swimming pool for a refreshing dip under the clear blue sky.

It only takes twenty minutes to drive into Syracuse, where you can stroll through the winding streets and soak up the sense of history. If you're craving some vitamin sea, you can hop in the car and head to Lido Varco, just a four-minute drive away. And, adventurous types can explore Parco dell'Etna, home to the famous volcano – it's an hour and ten minutes away by car.

*This home is composed of the main house, with four bedrooms, and two annexes, each of which contain one bedroom
*The swimming pool can be heated to 24-26 degrees celsius on request, and is full of saltwater
*The pool is open between the beginning of March and the end of November
*A welcome basket containing breakfast items is provided
*Two cots are available
*Cleaning is provided every other day, and there are linen and towel changes twice a week
*You will probably want a car to get around – there is space to park at the house
