Kissamos Bay sits on the north-eastern coast of Crete, where this island’s ancient past comes to light. From the striking mosaics found in the Archaeological Museum of Kissamos, to the hiking area around the ruins of Polyrrhenia, you’ll be spoiled for choice with history, as well as gorgeous beaches and landscapes. However, just a fifteen-minute drive from the ancient wonders of the ruins, you’ll be living in an altogether different era.
This villa is modern magnificence at its finest. Sitting right on the waters at the Kissamos coast, the angular lines of the home come in striking contrast to the rolling hills and waves that surround it. In its stylish concrete courtyard, your private pool awaits, along with sun loungers, alfresco dining spots, and an outdoor lounge. We love the use of glass sliding doors to bring the outside in, where you can take a break from the midday sun by stepping into the lounge. Fantastic use of wooden slats and modern furniture creates a unique living space with Scandinavian ideals. Perch here nibbling juicy olives until sundown, then step out again for a barbecue on the terrace when the beachside rocks light up at night.
