Plus, your host provides bicycles in the garage, so you can peddle to the beach and back in no time.

If you’re not spending the day at the beach, perhaps while away the hours in the privacy of the backyard. Here, a kidney-shaped swimming pool offers respite from the hot, Florida air. The whole area is fringed with palm trees and ferns, so it’s a delight to sit out here in the shaded lounge and enjoy a mojito or two.

Gallery-white walls inside show off some surf and ocean-themed prints to put you in the mood for the beach nearby. Wood and wicker touches add a laid-back boho feel. The open kitchen, living and dining room keeps things breezy and there are two separate seating areas by sunny windows, allowing the group to spread out.
