Halfway between Siena and Florence (putting both within day-tripping distance), this charming stone villa is surrounded by Chianti’s famous vineyards. Just along the road, you’ll find shops and restaurants in the small town of Panzano. This place is all about switching off and relaxing with its private spa in the basement, swimming pool with a view of the Chianti hills and numerous terraces and patios for a quiet read or evening tipple. Bedrooms are split between the main villa and six self-contained apartments, each with its own living area. Within the main villa, there are plenty of lounges for the group to spread out and a huge kitchen capable of group meals.
Home truths: *While not all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*In addition to the main villa, there are six mini apartments scattered across the property, each with its own entrance and living area. One of the bedrooms is a quadruple so would suit kids sharing.
*A lot of the bedrooms have double beds and sofa beds sharing, so it might be a squeeze at capacity.
*A stay here includes bed linen changed weekly, towels replaced twice a week and daily maid service.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between May and October.
*Having a car is recommended and there is plenty of private parking.
