The owners knew that this 115E High Street was ‘Meant To Be’ their holiday home as soon as they saw it and have introduced their exquisite style throughout. A beautiful bespoke kitchen/breakfast room sits on the first floor next to the supremely elegant living room with a modern wood burner; the sensual bedroom and glamorous bathroom sit at the top of the house. Guests can park for a couple of hours on the roadside outside the apartment and for longer on nearby roads where the parking is unrestricted. Ground Floor: The front door opens directly into a small private hall with stairs to the apartment on the first and second floors. First Floor Stairs rise directly into the wonderful kitchen with door to the living room and carpeted stairs up to the second floor. There are hard floors throughout, except for the bedroom which is carpeted. Kitchen/Breakfast Room Beautiful big kitchen/breakfast space with high ceilings and wide sash window, sitting at the back of the apartment with carpeted stairs rising to the second floor. There’s a gate and path down the side of the second hand bookshop that leads to a door, opening into a courtyard where you’ll find the door to Meant To Be exclusively. The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
