We enjoyed the most spectacular stay at this House. It is a stunning estate and a marvelous location. The estate is gorgeous and magnificently appointed. Susan and DJ were the most charming and welcoming hosts. It achieves our highest recommendation - a must stay. Thank you Susan and DJ.

This is an amazing place to stay if around Mayo county. The location, room, food and overall experience is just wonderful! We happened to stay here just for a night in July’23 which was unplanned but felt lucky to get the accommodation here with a short notice. It’s a must place to plan it well and stay for a minimum 2-3 days! Right from the entry to the location with a beautiful path, horses around.. should experience!

"Relaxing stay in beautiful house" When things get back to normal next year this is one house you should include for a few days break. We spent 3 nights in this beautiful house in a truly wonderful setting. We enjoyed the glorious walk around the property and the area has some great drives to keep you occupied during the days. It was a real pleasure to share this house with the owners Susan and DJ who provide a friendly welcome and make your stay so much better than a faceless modern hotel.

"Perfection in Mayo" Apart from the departure date, there is nothing we would change. We had a wonderful time. It is rare indeed to find a place run on such actively friendly lines. Susan and DJ strike a perfect balance: things are done properly but without fuss. Our children (9 and 5) were entirely beguiled. The food is excellent and the wine list good and very reasonably priced. This all makes indoor life very relaxing for a guest and his or her canine friends. Outside are acres of woodland and a stretch of Lough Conn with what must be one of the most beautiful views in the west of Ireland.

"A very fine house with amazing hospitality" We recently booked it as a large group of friends for the New Year and we couldn't have chosen better. Fabulous food and wines. The views from every window were stunning. The bedrooms were luxurious and each individual ensuite was enchanting The most relaxing place ever.

"Irish hospitality at its best!" This historical gem is overseen and managed by 12th and 13th generation family members Sue Kellett and her son D.J.. Sue and D.J.'s restoration of the magnificent estate respecting both historical significance of the residence while ensuring the comfort of modern day guests is amazing. Sue and her son D.J. are the perfect Irish hostess and host. I found myself just wanting to sit down in the kitchen with a cup of tea and scones to learn more of the history of the residence as well as the surrounding area.
