In a building which has stood for 120 years, your historic flat takes a different approach inside. Modern, minimalist, and relaxed, the bright living space features understated furnishings with a monochrome colour scheme. This cleverly allows its original architectural features to stand out – vaulted brick ceilings, timber beams, and exposed brickwork remind you of Barcelona of old.

Since ascending the stairs to the fifth floor is thirsty work, we recommend pouring yourself a chilled glass of Catalan wine. Take it out to peer over the wrought-iron balconette from the tall glass doors of the lounge. Or head into the main bedroom where you’ll find a cute terrace with an alfresco dining spot and fabulous views of neighbouring buildings. Anyone for a top-up?
