And speaking of, there are plenty of spots to do just that. Sprawl out on the lounge chairs with a good book, enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony or hold court underneath the pergola in the separate chill-out area. We can't forget about the pool, either – jump into the refreshing waters and spend the day splashing underneath blue skies. Come dinnertime, rustle up paella or grilled seafood in the outdoor kitchen, then tuck in as the sun goes down.

Inside, you'll find that the villa's old-world features seamlessly blend with 21st-century comforts – we're talking terracotta floors at your feet, domed ceilings overhead adorned with wooden beams, and comfy seating inviting you to kick back and relax. Two kitchens and two living areas – one upstairs, one down – make this a great option for groups. There's also an office if you need to work from home.

Location-wise, you'll be on the outskirts of Moraira, just a stone's throw from shops and restaurants. Platja de l'Ampolla is a short drive away if you fancy sand and surf, while Cala el Portet is also nearby if snorkelling and kayaking are more your speed.
