Set within a farm surrounded by lush Madeiran countryside in Vale Paraíso, this home has a secluded location, so it’s an ideal rural retreat. Inside, you’ll find character features such as an open fireplace and a wood-burning oven, while outside, there are tree-flanked lawns and woodland paths to enjoy. If you have young children with you, they may need to be supervised, as the lawn does slope away, and some of the paths are rustic and uneven. Despite all this tranquillity, Funchal is only twenty minutes away by car. Or explore the nearby village of Camacha, a four-minute drive, where you’ll find supermarkets, bars, and restaurants.
