Grand, beautiful and stylishly bohemian, this apartment in Barcelona’s Eixample Esquerra neighbourhood provides a luxuriously relaxing stay within easy reach of the city’s most iconic sights. Inside, the decor has been playfully curated to juxtapose light and dark, with pale wood accents contrasting against deep-hued feature walls to create an intimate space that instantly feels soothing. We love the eclectic furnishings – from the low-slung sofa with its statement neon light to the mixture of chairs around the large dining table – and the original ornamental fireplace that adds a touch of grandeur to the laid-back, bohemian furnishings. The kitchen is any home cook’s dream with its neutral cabinetry, compact island and floor-to-ceiling blackboard, while the two bedrooms provide the perfect canvas for a dreamy night’s sleep with their earth-toned palettes and grasslands-inspired ornaments. Our favourite feature of the home, however, is the large private terrace equipped with a sofa, a table and chairs. Whether you’re kicking back with your morning coffee, gathering here over a jug of sangria or sitting down to a meal beneath the glow of the fairy lights, you’ll love having this outdoor space to catch some Spanish rays and indulge in the balmy air. Outside of your home, you’re a twenty-minute walk from Casa Milà, a thirty-five-minute stroll from La Sagrada Família, while all around you, Eixample Esquerra's art galleries, swish cafes, and luxury boutiques wait to be explored.
