Perched on the banks of a canal, this Atlantic City home is ripe for entertaining. That's particularly true of the large games room, which features everything from basketball and ping-pong to a bar area and a retro arcade machine.

When the sun makes an appearance, however, there's nothing to stop you from firing up the barbecue and dining on smoky flavours by the waterside. Once the sky starts to turn dark, why not retire to the hot tub for a session amid the bubbles?

However, don't go thinking that style has been sacrificed entirely for fun's sake. The interior design throughout may be relatively simple, but the emphasis on natural light, mid-century furnishings and tastefully sparse decoration all feel fresh and contemporary. We're particularly fond of the gleaming quartz countertops in the kitchen, as well.

While the local area is certainly residential, you don't have to venture too far for attractions in Atlantic City. The famous four-mile-long boardwalk and beautiful beaches can be reached in around ten minutes by car, as can the bulk of the destination's renowned casinos.
