Hay on Wye is famously known all over the world as the Town of Books . Boasting over twenty bookstores to browse, it is renowned for the annual Hay Festival of Literature & Arts. However, there is more to the town than books; it boasts a good range of cafes and restaurants, as well as independent shops. The Globe in Hay is host to a vibrant calendar of arts events that runs throughout the year. The town of Hay is set on the banks of the River Wye where you can enjoy paddling at The Warren, the local beach, or hire a kayak further down the river at Glasbury. Walkers and cyclists head to the Brecon Beacons National Park where you will find plenty of rambling routes and places to explore by bike. This stylish property is situated within the gateway to an exclusive development of just 25 houses and is simply perfect for any stay in Hay on Wye. Step inside where you can take a seat in the spacious entrance hall to remove your boots. The ground floor is spacious an area that has been created for entertaining with family and friends. The generously sized lounge is situated to the rear of the property with French doors opening onto the enclosed garden. There are large sofas for you to relax with friends whilst enjoying some time watching movies on the smart TV, there is also a selection of board games and good reads. The kitchen/diner is situated at the front of the house and is perfect for enjoying supper; the well equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, filter coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The dining area is furnished with a table and chairs that can accommodate six guests. There is a WC on the ground floor. When the day is done, climb the stairs where you will find three bedrooms spread across two floors. The first floor offers a double bedroom with an en suite waterfall shower and WC and a twin bedroom with zip and link beds that can also be made into a king size bed. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The second floor offers a king size bedroom with an en suite waterfall shower and WC. Here you will find a desk, an adjoining dressing room and a lounge chair making the perfect place to sit and enjoy your favourite music through the Bluetooth radio and speaker. It's a haven of calm and relaxation. Outside is an enclosed rear garden with table and chairs for summer dining. Challenge friends and family to a game of giant Jenga. There is a charcoal BBQ and secure storage for bikes with outdoor hose for bike cleaning. There is off road parking for two cars.
