The property is set in a lovely spot in Eskdale Green, a picturesque village which is home to the Japanese Garden in Giggle Alley forest.

With plenty of great pubs along the way, this is a superb base for walkers, climbers, cyclists, and nature lovers exploring the fells, pools and woodlands of the Esk Valley. From the nearby Irton Road station you can catch the La al Ratty steam train on its way to the coastal village of Ravenglass (6 miles).
