But outside is really where the magic happens here. By day, pick fresh herbs from the garden at your front door to season your picnic sandwiches, best enjoyed down by the tree-dappled pond. And at night, we can't think of anything better than reclining on the outdoor sofas and admiring those rural views with a glass of something chilled as the sun goes down. Should you ever be persuaded to leave this little idyll, you'll find an award-winning traditional inn just a five-minute walk away in the historic village of Mells, thought to be one of the prettiest in Somerset. Or jump in the car and head for the vibrant town of Frome, just an eight-minute drive away.
