Area
On the fringes of Newquay is the small seaside community of Porth. In addition to a shop, cafes, restaurants, and a tavern on the white sand beach, the settlement is close to the South West Coast Path, which offers breathtaking views. The popular town of Newquay, with its beaches, watersports, bars, restaurants, zoo, and aquarium, is highly recommended. Watergate Bay, with its rolling waves, surf schools, cafes, and pubs, is close by. While Lusty Glaze Beach's surf training facility is technically located inside the hamlet, Fistral Beach and the surf centre are located three miles to the west of Porth. Porth is the perfect starting point for a trip to Cornwall because Bodmin Moor, the city of Truro, Falmouth, the lovely fishing village of Padstow, and the renowned Eden Project are all nearby.

Region
Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
