Located in hilly Lapa, one of Lisbon’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, you’ll be within walking distance of the Basílica da Estrela and Green Street here. With eye-catching artwork and sloping ceilings, this place has more character than the average city pad. And the private balcony, accessed via one of the bedrooms, is a peaceful spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The steep stairs mean this home might not be suitable for everyone, but if they’re not a deal-breaker, we think it’s a great choice for a group of friends wanting to explore the capital.

Home truths:
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home on the second floor. There are also steep space-saver stairs to climb inside the apartment – it might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
*The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
*Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
