Staithes' harbour is just a couple of minutes' walk away from your front door, where you can watch the boats bobbing in the waves. There is a good range of eateries in the village, from cosy pubs to quaint tearooms and local fish restaurants, so you can refuel during the day. And, if you fancy a day trip, the neighbouring town of Whitby is just a twenty-five minutes drive away.
