A short skip to the buses and you’ll be in town in less than 20 minutes, or else it’s a 10-minute stroll to overland stations and the tube. Dalston is a lively neighbourhood with cafes, restaurants and boutique shops but happily the apartment is a haven of calm and tranquillity. Wood-panelled flooring, large windows and soothing green and white tones predominate while personal touches include a wood burner, heaving bookshelf and neat kitchen stocked with teas, herbs and spices.
